On what, thankfully, turned out to be a glorious sunny day, we welcomed a large number of OPs to the Pangbourne tent in Lion Meadow to celebrate all things rowing, The number of Paravicini blazers to be seen at the regatta seems to grow year on year and the Pangbourne tent was the ideal spot to grab a drink and a light lunch and meet up with friends and fellow rowing enthusiasts.
The day began on a high note with OP Phillip Garnier (2013 - 2018) reaching finals day with his crew from Thames Rowing Club. Also among the OPs attending was Frankie Allen (2015 - 2020) who will be rowing for Great Britain at this years Paralympics in Paris. We look forward to cheering her on in September.
