In collaboration with the OP Yacht Club the Old Pangbournian Society is proposing a two week flotilla sailing holiday in the Ionian Sea in Greece from 30 August - 13 September 2026.
Sailing around the Greek Islands is extremely popular and charter companies are selling out fast, hence the booking deadline. Even now we may be too late. Having sought expressions of interest in our last newsletter, we now have plenty of suitably qualified skippers but the responses for crew was disappointing. That said, some companies still have boats available but on a first come first served basis.
Ideally, we would like to fill at least three yachts but a booking is only confirmed if a deposit is paid. A commitment is therefore required. As an approximate guide the cost, including flights and harbour dues, is around £1600 pp depending on the size of yacht, excluding food, eating out and so on.
If you would like to take part or have any queries first please contact Ian Williams immediately for further details.at woofwilliams@gmail.com
Please note we do have a plan B if we receive enough “skipper” applications as we may then be able to put together our own
