Old Pangbournian Society
The Old Pangbournian Society keeps our alumni - known as Old Pangbournians (OPs) - in touch with each other and the College. It upholds and supports Pangbourne’s ethos and traditions through undertaking a number of initiatives, whether academic, sporting, cultural or social.
Every pupil becomes a member of the OP Society upon leaving the College. Membership is free, and OPs receive the Pangbournian Magazine, regular email newsletters and invitations to various events.
A voluntary committee elected at an Annual General Meeting (AGM) manages the Society, and all OPs may stand for election. The Committee is focused on three areas: Communications, Activities and Historical initiatives.
We encourage all OPs to get involved with the Old Pangbournian Society!
2026 marks the centenary of the Old Pangbournian Society (OPS). For a hundred years, the Society has been at the heart of OP life, connecting alumni, celebrating shared experiences, and strengthening ties with the College. Run by OPs for OPs, it’s your community for staying engaged with all things Pangbourne.
Our vision is clear: a vibrant, active network of OPs, connected through multiple channels that support each other and the College. We aim to be a lasting asset, one that grows in value over time.
The Society serves as a bridge between past and present - honouring the achievements of our members while supporting the next generation of Pangbournians. We do this through Pangbournian Connect, direct emails, and our social media presence on Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
From London dinners to regional gatherings, career mentoring to charitable initiatives, the OPS continues the College’s tradition of service, leadership, and community. Through events and shared stories, we maintain the camaraderie that defines the Pangbourne experience.
We encourage all OPs to get involved, whether by attending an event, organising one, or simply sharing what you’ve been up to since leaving Pangbourne. The best way to do this is via Pangbournian Connect or our social media channels.
As we celebrate 100 years, join us in strengthening these lifelong connections. Discover how the values instilled at Pangbourne continue to guide and inspire our diverse community around the world. I look forward to an exciting calendar of events next year and to meeting many of you along the way.
Once a Pangbournian, always a Pangbournian.
