In its 104th year and the day before a unique Upper Sixth only Founders' Day 2021, the Chief Cadet Captains of the College, Matthew Stanley and Elise Szala, in the presence of the Headmaster, Mr Thomas Garnier, and Chaplain, The Reverend Neil Jeffers, laid a wreath in honour of the younger of the two school founders, Sir Philip Devitt.

Sir Philip was passionate about the school and committed to making it a lasting to memorial to his father, Sir Thomas Lane Devitt, who died in 1923. Portraits of both can be found in Devitt Hall in Devitt House.
