This month saw the PPA hold its hugely popular Christmas Market in Drake Hall. Visitors were treated to over 50 high quality stalls selling a range of unique gifts including the fantastic range of PPA merchandise such as Pangbournian Spirit Gin & Rum, Christmas Cards and a new edition this year Bluebell Notebooks and Cards featuring the College's stunning Bluebell woods in all their glory.
Other offerings included the opportunity to win a wheelbarrow of wine, take part in the tombola and guess the name of the bear. The PPA also ran it's own Christmas Cafe which was immensley popular during the day selling a range of hot food as well as tea, coffee and cake.
Funds raised at this event are still being counted but indications are that over £7000 has been raised for the College and also the charity that we support YPACF who had a stand at the market to spread the word about the amazing work that they do supporting young people transitioning from foster care into the world at large..
Of course the day wouldn't have been possible without the dedication and hard work of the PPA Committee and the band of parent volunteers who so generously gave their time to make sure that a fantastic day was had by all. Special thanks also go to Andy Crossley who's help is invaluable and very much appreciated..
