The Final – Parry v Donaldson
It was played yesterday at Sunningdale and the home team man Will Donaldson prevailed.
Despite receiving no less than 11 shots the normally metronomic Charlie Parry was brow beaten on ‘lightning fast’ greens by William’s putting and was 1 down after 10, invariably requiring his shots merely to halve holes. With William shooting a gross 72 and requiring only 25 putts in total it is no surprise that he came out a relatively easy winner 4 and 3.
Well played Will, and look forward, hopefully, to seeing you for the presentation at The Berkshire on the 28th.
