The evening was a huge success and going into the final round, just three points separated the top five teams. In the end it was ‘The Pangbourne Pirates’ who came out victorious. Many thanks indeed to all who came and supported the event and helped to raise funds for the sixth form students annual expedition to Nabugabo, a village in South East Uganda, accompanied by our Deputy Head Co-Curriculum, Mr Richard Follett.
Working with the local charity The HUGE Partnership, the students have been fundraising for the materials to build a house for a homeless family. During their visit, the students will help in lessons at the Nabugabo Primary Learning Centre (the local school run by HUGE) as we;; as working hard on the building site.
