Charles W. Sabine (48-51) died in 2025 aged 90 as the OP Society was informed by his
widow Mary in April 2026. He arrived at The Nautical College in the summer term 1948
from Stubbington House prep school, Fareham and later joined Harbinger Division. At the
end of the summer term 1951 Charles left the NCP and went to sea with Clan Line Steamers
Ltd as well as becoming a Probationary Midshipman RNR. In the 1963 OP Register he was
listed as living at Longparish in Hampshire. We have no other information at this time.
