Our Gala is the charity’s flagship event, supporting our Time for a Change children’s appeal to transform the children’s wards at St George’s Hospital. The evening will be taking place at AFC Wimbledon on Plough Lane and will include a drinks reception, three course meal with half a bottle of wine per person and entertainment throughout the evening. We’re also delighted to be joined by Sky Sports News presenter Vicky Gomersall, who will be hosting! All funds raised will go towards transforming the children’s wards at St George's Hospital and creating more welcoming, brighter, and comfortable spaces for the children, families, and staff.
Our charity is dedicated to enhancing the experience of patients, their families, hospital staff, and the wider community served by St. George's University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As one of London’s largest and busiest hospital trusts, and a leading UK teaching hospital, St. George’s cares for a catchment area of 3.5 million people. We work collaboratively to fund vital improvements to hospital facilities, advance medical research and equipment, and support initiatives that enhance patient care. Our projects also extend into our community, focusing on reducing health inequalities and preventing avoidable hospital admissions.
We would be honoured to have members of the OP society community join us for this special evening.
