A member of the 30-strong Team Chazza/Charlie Hunt Group, the members raised nearly £400,000 in a year in memory of Charlie Hunt who died of spindle cell sarcoma in 2023. Charlie was the brother of Jeremy Hunt, the former Chancellor the Exchequer, and a nephew of Richard's. To raise the amount, the group took on marathons, trekked Mount Everest, organised craft events and street collections in England and held two receptions at 11 Downing Street. Pictured alongside Richard and his wife Carole are Jeremy Hunt, Susie Hunt, Thandi Hunt (Charlie's widow), Lucie (Jeremy Hunt's wife), Philippa (Richord and Carole's daughter) and Patricia (Susie's in law).
