CHARLES POUNDS (43-46)

18 May 2021
Obituaries

Charles E. Pounds (43-46) died of old age at home in England in early March 2021, as reported from Australia by his son Simon.

At the NCP Charles was a Cadet Captain in Hesperus Division in Lent Term 1946. At this stage we have no details of his career, but in 1963 he was listed in the OP Register as living in Bournemouth.

Charles sent Simon to the NCP as it was in 1969 when he arrived, leaving in 1973 from Pangbourne College. Simon went into advertising in Hong Kong before branching out and raising beef cattle on a farm in the Hunter Valley two hours north of Sydney, Australia.
