Students and their families came together for a fantastic afternoon of rifle shooting at the National Shooting Centre, Bisley, enjoying the opportunity to try something new, learn new skills and share some friendly competition.

With targets set at 600 yards and a range of rifles to try, the event offered a memorable experience for participants of all abilities, bringing members of the Pangbournian Community together through a shared interest and a new challenge.

A huge thank you goes to Old Pangbournian (OP) Gary Muranyi and his team of instructors for making the afternoon such a success, sharing their expertise and ensuring everyone had an enjoyable experience.

Events like this are a great way to strengthen connections across the Pangbournian Community, creating opportunities for students, families and OPs to meet, reconnect and enjoy new experiences together.

And this is just the beginning. With ambitions to bring competitive shooting back to Pangbourne, sights are set on the NRA Imperial Meeting in 2027. The success of this event marks an exciting first step, with the potential to build a lasting community around the sport.
