Celebrating the Leavers of 1965 & 1975

On Sunday 12 October we hosted a reunion for Old Pangbournians who left the College 50 and 60 years ago.

The reunion was on College Sunday and the attending OPs joined for Chapel and Parade followed by lunch with the Head and Chair of Governors. Some of the attending OPs then enjoyed a tour of the College, seeing recent Campus developments, such as the new day Divisions, and, with typical Pangbournian spirit, couldn’t resist tackling an obstacle on the new assault course!

The tour finished with a moving and highly informative visit to the Falkland Islands Memorial Chapel (FIMC), led by OP, Falklands veteran and FIMC Trustee, Commander Andrew Gordon-Lennox. The Chapel commemorates the lives and sacrifice of all those who died in the South Atlantic in 1982 and the courage of the thousands of Servicemen and women who served with them.

Thank you to all of the attending OPs for your excellent company - we are already looking forward to next year’s event for the leavers of 1966 and 1976 on Sunday 11 October 2026.
